Simon Peare Wedding Photography 5 star ReviewsSimon Peare Wedding Photographer Dublin Testimonials
The traditional Irish wedding is still very popular but by no means the only type of
wedding couples have these days. Couples are more confident in putting
their own stamp on their day to reflect their personalities and interests.
Be it big, small, lavish, sparse in Dublin city centre or in an old country house,
couple's can celebrate their wedding their way.
My approach to wedding photography takes this into account and is based on
a documentary style, resulting in timeless images of how your wedding actually was.
I have a keen eye for detail, capturing the smallest gestures, emotions and interactions
that make your wedding day truly special. And if couples like a little bit
of direction I am happy to step in. Whether it's a candid shot or a posed portrait,
each photograph reflects a real moment from your wedding day.
With lots of experience shooting weddings every situation brings a challenge
and that's why hiring a professional wedding photographer is so important in
getting it right on your wedding day

You've probably never done it before so there is a lot of unknowns. Let me help.

to ceremony singers, bands and many more
Unique Style and ApproachMy approach to wedding photography is characterized by a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, resulting in timeless and breathtaking images. Stepping in only if a couple would like a little bit of direction
Five star reviews are your security in booking me as your wedding photographer

Now, looking for a wedding photographers prices on their website
is like trying to find the holy grail
Well not here
Personally I hate having to wrestle a price out of a salesperson.
They do it to make you contact them.
I prefer making up my own mind and then getting in touch
You have probably read that couples typically spend
between €2,000 - €4,000 on wedding photography
These figures are based on surveys of couples on wedding suppliers websites
that typically are having larger budgets and spending more on everything.
Think of it as going into a Prada store and surveying the customers
of how much they spend on a dress
So don't be thinking you have to pay up to €4,000 to get great wedding photos

When you pick a wedding photographer personally
I think there is two things to look for. Firstly is their experience and
secondly do you get on with them. You need both to be good.
Your wedding is going to be an amazing day and your photographer
will be close by most of the time capturing the powerful, intimate and
memorable moments of your life
As I work in a documentary style most of the time you won't even
know I'm there. You'll get to spend the time with your family and friends.
And when it comes to doing the family formals I will have them
arranged efficiently and get you back to the party
For the couple photos I am happy to step in and give you a bit
of guidance if needs be. Before the wedding we would discuss how
much interaction you would like on the day
Yep that's meon the left
So what do you get if you hire me as your wedding photographer?
Well like most people I prefer being behind the camera and not in front of it :)
On a wedding day I like to blend in as much as possible. I won't ever ask for a fake laugh or smile
I like to capture you as you really are
Born and raised in Dublin, photography and music are my two passions.
Up until about 10 years I worked in the music business before deciding
on becoming a professional photographer and never looked back
I started with a local newspaper that would send me to every type of event imaginable
before starting to do weddings and private and corporate events
When I not taking photos you are likely to find me playing or listening to music.
Apart from that I am happier with a pint of Guinness and a toasted sandwich
and I prefer cooking to a fancy restaurant.
Good coffee, no milk, no sugar. Good friends
Good conversation and good craic
It takes a lot for me to get stressed so I like to be a calming
presence in stressful situations. I have a very thick skin so say
anything to me I won't mind
I love traveling to new and old places
London and Nerja are two places you'll often find me
once I can find a trusty cat sitter
New places to discover (and photograph) and old places to relax
(Fine art prints from home and away available at www.pearephotography.com)
But basically I'll do anything to get a good photo
Just ask Chillii above :)
