My approach to wedding photography is characterised by a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques in a documentary style, resulting in timeless and breathtaking images as well as stepping in when couples like some direction. I have a keen eye for detail, capturing the smallest gestures, emotions, and interactions that make your wedding day truly special.
Composition and lighting are so important and knowing this it allows me to create beautiful and natural photographs that evoke emotions. It's important to tell a story and this adds an extra layer of depth and meaning to your wedding photos. Whether it's a candid shot or a posed portrait, each photograph reflects a real moment from your wedding day. With years of experience shooting weddings every situation brings a challenge and that's why hiring a professional wedding photographer is so important in getting it right on your wedding day
Unique Style and ApproachMy approach to wedding photography is characterized by a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, resulting in timeless and breathtaking images. Stepping in only if a couple would like a little bit of direction
As a wedding photographer you get the privilege to visit the most beautiful parts of Ireland and some of it's most amazing venues. From castles turned into hotels and exclusive country houses turned into wedding venues. In Dublin you have all the charm of the city and some amazing places to take wedding photos.
Weddings are often in venues that are challenging for photography. That is why you need an experienced photographer that won't be phased by this and will be able to get the best images out of any situation.
When you are picking your wedding photographer it is important to check out their previous work. Click on the photo below to see a slideshow of some images from past weddings from Dublin and around the country.
I understand that every couple is unique, and their wedding photography needs may vary. To accommodate different preferences and budgets, I offer a range of tailored packages. These packages can be customised to suit specific requirements, ensuring that every couple receives the perfect photography experience.
Moreover, I am flexible and willing to adapt to different locations, styles, and themes. It doesn't matter if you are getting ready at home or in your wedding venue or if it's a church wedding. You might have a place you would like to go for photos after the ceremony. It's all included.
I take the time to understand the couple's vision and incorporate it into my approach. From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, my adaptability ensures that your wedding photography aligns perfectly with your dreams.
Looking for wedding photographer's prices sometimes can feel like searching for the holy grail. Very few put them on their website. Personally I hate looking at something and having to wrestle out of the salesperson what does it cost. Not here.
You have probably read that couples on average pay between €2,000 and €4,000 for their wedding photography. This is based on a website survey where couples typically have larger weddings with bigger budgets and could involve 2 photographers and an album and video clips bundled in. It doesn't include all the couples that get married in the Registry Office and have a meal with their families after and maybe a few photos. So don't be thinking you have to pay up to €4,000 for great wedding photos.
My packages start at €999 for the Essential parts of the day which is from the ceremony until sitting down for dinner. From there you can add on the prep for a half day package for €1249, and a full day package up until the dancing for €1599. It's totally up to you. A fantastic wedding album can also be added to any package from €325.
All packages include the images provided edited and in high resolution and an online gallery with a 12 month backup guarantee and a sneak preview within a few days. The full gallery delivered no more than eight weeks after the wedding. A full day would usually end up being a final gallery of 500 - 600 images.

Testimonial from Marie & Simon
"From the beginning, Simon was very professional. He suggested some options of nearby places between the registry office and our venue where we could take our wedding pictures. His experience was very welcomed. On the day he guided me in a very soft manner for a few pics just before the wedding itself. After that, we did not notice his presence anymore. Then he managed to capture moments with our friends and family without us noticing resulting in incredibly natural photos. We are delighted with the result"
Your Wedding Photos Are an InvestmentYour wedding photos will last a lifetime
Click on the photo below to see a package specifically for Registry Office or Civil Ceremony weddings on a budget or more intimate weddings. It covers the ceremony and photos nearby in Merrion Square, Iveagh Gardens, Stephen's Green or any nearby venue of your choice. As I am fully insured these options are open to you as to have wedding photos in any OPW or Dublin City Council property your photographer has to apply for a permit and be fully insured. The Civil Ceremony/Registry Office Package is an especially popular choice for smaller and mid-week weddings.
When you pick a wedding photographer personally I think there is two things to look for.
Firstly is their experience, secondly is do you get on with them. You need both to be good.

I understand the nuances and demands of capturing the true essence of such a momentous occasion. My experience allows me to anticipate and capture fleeting moments, preserving them for eternity.
