Kettle's Country House Hotel Wedding
Lisa and Karl chose the Kettle's Country House Hotel for their Scottish themed wedding. This was a new venue for me which is always a treat. Great to see a new venue and check out all the best spots for photos. Lisa and Karl were both getting ready in the hotel which gave me the opportunity get some shots of Karl and his best man getting ready and as it was a Scottish theme is was a bit more than the lads just throwing on a jacket.
Carol Colman was the celebrant on the day bringing Lisa and Karl through the ceremony they had planned including pinning Karl's family tartan to Lisa and after the papers were signed toasting the wedding with a quaich. An old Scottish tradition of drinking whiskey together from the same cup. I think Karl enjoyed this part a little more thank Lisa
After the ceremony they had the drinks reception upstairs and Marta from Piece of Cake delivered their amazing wedding cake. We did the family photos just out the back of the hotel. They have a lovely garden but unfortunately the ground was wet on the day so we didn't venture too far.
After that it was dinner and party time. A local DJ had them dancing from the beginning and after the first dance Lisa had a dance with her Dad. Always a special moment.
