"From the beginning, Simon responded to my emails very promptly and in a very professional manner. He suggested some options of nearby places between the registry office and our venue where we could take our wedding pictures. We were not sure in what order to proceed with the pictures and his experience was very welcomed. One the day, Simon arrived early, he guided me in a very soft manner for a few pics just before the wedding itself. After that, we did not notice his presence anymore. For the rest of the day, he managed to capture moments with our friends and family without us noticing resulting in incredibly natural photos. We are delighted with the result"
Well we are still have restrictions over a year on. Many couples have chosen to postpone their day so they can enjoy it safely when most people have been vaccinated. Some have decided to get married anyway despite whatever restrictions are in place. There is no right or wrong in anyone's decision. Each couple knows what's best for them. For couples that decide to go ahead and are looking for a wedding photographer I hope you will consider this package that I have put together for these difficult times.
As a Wedding Photographer I will be able to capture your day under the current guidelines. Social distancing can be maintained at all times. As I shoot in a documentary style I never interfere during the ceremony.
After the ceremony family group photos can be organised with social distancing in mind. Bride and Groom portraits can also be done also as I would be using a portrait lens which requires me to be approx 3 meters away to focus.
If your wedding is in the Dublin Registry Office then there is also many beautiful outdoor settings that can be used only a short distance away. All the details will be discussed and your questions answered over the phone or on video chat before the wedding.
If you have any questions or would like to get in touch please get in touch at for a no obligation chat please email [email protected] or call +353 86 8137668

The Registry Office in Dublin is a fabulous place to get married. The registrars are all extremely professional and love carrying out their role. There is always a laugh and a joke to ease any last minute nerves. As the registry office is based in Grand Canal Street Lower near the older business district of Georgian Dublin with there are so many beautiful places close by for bride and groom and family portraits afterwards. The Canal, Merrion Square, Fitzwilliam square are all only a few minutes away. If you are feeling more adventurous you can venture into the city centre around Grafton Street or Trinity College. There are so many locations to choose from.
I always feel if the couple live or grew up in Dublin it gives the images of their wedding day a real sense of place. I have had many couples who met in Dublin that love capturing images in some of the places they use to or still do hang out in. The approach I take is a very laid back one. I grew up and still live in Dublin and love the city centre so I know it very well.
The wedding photos after the ceremony will be as simple as going for a walk stopping a few times to take in the sights. Natural images of you and your partner on your wedding day. I always let the couple decide the route if we go for a walk so their images will be truly unique. Nothing worse than seeing your wedding photos but just with different people in them in the same old posed positions.
For this package above I will meet you at the registry office. If you want to capture the prep as well in the morning that can added on no problem. During the ceremony I capture it in a documentary style not interfering or interrupting in any way. It is your day not a photographers photo shoot. Afterwards we can do the group images that you want and then bride and groom portraits nearby. If you want the drinks reception and arriving in at the meal captured as well that can also be added on to the package.
If you decide to go ahead and book me to photograph your wedding please get in touch at
[email protected] or phone/text + 353 86 8137668
After that I will send you a short booking form to fill out (takes about 2 minutes) that details everything we have discussed. As bookings for wedding photography can be made years in advance it is better to have everything that was agreed in writing so when we talk before the wedding we can both refer back to the booking form.
After you return the booking form filled in with the relevant details and paid a deposit of €99 your date will be secured.
Congratulations you have now booked a Photographer for your Wedding Day!
