Julia and Yuhki's Wedding Dublin Registry Office

Well 2022 is off and running. Julia and Yuhki got married earlier this year in the Registry Office in Dublin City. It was a small intimate affair as some of Yuhki's family were not able to travel due to restrictions but nevertheless they wanted to go ahead. Julia's mum had contacted me to see if I was available to photograph their wedding and I was delighted that I was available. You couldn't have met a sweeter couple.

The ceremony itself was in the Registry office beside Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital. The HSE staff are always very friendly and professional. Nothing ever runs late so you have to be on the ball. The ceremony included some readings by Julia's dad and Yuhki's sister which were really personal. After the ceremony we had decided to have a short walk around that part of Dublin to get a few nice shots. So first we headed for Merrion Square. We had gotten a permit from Dublin City Council. It was a cold day but everyone was up for having a bit of fun. Julia's mum had the camera in hand so I had a bit of competition. So we took a stroll and ended up in Toner's of Baggot St. My arm did not need to be twisted. So we finished off having a chat and a pint in their heated beer garden. What a nice way to start off 2022.
